Fast Facts: Did you know that most of the so called "evidence" used at the time of the Scopes Trial for evolution have now been proven wrong!! Such as the supposed missing link (transitional form) "Piltdown Man" was found to be a fraud perpetrated by promoters of the theory of evolution. Also, they claimed at the time (and still taught in public schools) that the human appendix was a left over vestige organ that was needed by the cave man but has no use today; with today's knowledge and science they have learned the appendix plays an important role in the early development of the immune system. Go to Ken Ham's radio blog to hear more. http://blogs.answersingenesis.org/aroundtheworld/2005/12/12/the-scopes-trial%ef%bf%bdthe-evidence-has-changed/
Sincerely, Chris Peterson

Weekly History Challenge - 7/16/07 This weeks prize is a "Faith of America's Founders" laminated wall chart.
On July 18th, 1792 this Revolutionary War naval hero died in his apartment. He is known as the "Father of the American Navy", but is probably most remember for his famous statement to the British Captain of the HMS Serapis in which he fought one of the fiercest battles in naval history. After the USS Bonhomme Richard (to which he was captain) was struck, it began taking on water and caught fire. When the British captain of the Serapis ordered him to surrender, he famously replied "I have not yet begun to fight "! A few hours later, the captain and crew of the Serapis admitted defeat and he took command of the British ship. Name this Revolutionary War Naval Hero!
